This October, Join Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA) and the City of St. Petersburg in welcoming the SunRunner — a new train-like transit line that will connect downtown St. Pete to South Pasadena and St. Pete Beach.
The SunRunner is Tampa Bay’s very first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project offering a modern, fast transportation service. The bus will run every 15 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during the evening with limited stops and semi-exclusive travel lanes.
A great way to travel between downtown and the beaches. Enjoy dinner & cocktails at one of the many downtown restaurants, or watch sunset on the beach, with no worries about driving & parking. Limited stops enable travel from Beach to Burg (or vice-versa) in about 35 minutes, that's 30% faster than the current bus service.
You can even stop off for a pint at the Horse and Jockey, one of our favorite English Pubs in South Pasadena!
