Big News for St. Pete Beach: A New 133-Unit Luxury Condo Community Is Coming to Corey Avenue

St. Pete Beach is about to get a serious glow-up — and locals, investors, and future homeowners are all buzzing about it. The city just approved a brand-new luxury condo project called Corey Landing, and it’s set to transform the east end of Corey Avenue into a vibrant waterfront destination.

What’s Being Built?

Developer Kolter Urban (the same team behind several high-end Gulf Coast projects) received unanimous city approval to build:

  • Two 8-story buildings
  • 133 luxury condos
  • Spacious two-bedroom and three-bedroom layouts (most around 1,700–2,400 sq ft)
  • Large outdoor terraces with gorgeous water views
  • 11,000 sq ft of new retail & restaurant space
  • A brand-new public park
  • Upgrades to the waterfront, including a water-taxi dock, kayak launch, new seawall, and improved sidewalks

It’s a big shift from the earlier plan (by a different developer) that proposed a much denser 243-unit apartment complex with over 17,000 sq ft of retail. The city and community clearly preferred a calmer, more residential vision — and Kolter delivered.

Let’s be honest… big development projects don’t always get cheers from the community. But this one did.

Even the Mayor called out that this version actually earned overwhelming public support, which is rare for a waterfront development in a beach town.
